Job Summary
As a Business Development Associate, you'll connect with business owners across the country, learn how their companies operate, and uncover opportunities that help drive our company's growth. This isn't high pressure sales, it's relationship building and creating opportunities through meaningful conversations.
You'll speak directly with business owners, understand their stories, and help uncover opportunities that contribute to our company's long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to owners of garage door companies nationwide.
- Build rapport and establish meaningful conversations with business owners.
- Learn about each company's operations, history, and goals.
- Gather information about the business and identify potential opportunities.
- Determine whether owners have interest in selling their company now or in the future.
- Maintain detailed notes and update information in our CRM system.
- Work closely with leadership to help develop and improve outreach strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with business owners and executives.
- Naturally curious and skilled at asking thoughtful questions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and dependable.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging in conversations throughout the day.
- Previous experience in customer service, recruiting, business development, or sales is a plus, but not required.
