POSITION SUMMARY: The Care Services Administrator is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the
Care Services department which provides services to Healthcare residents in accordance to SLC’s standards,
policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides overall administrative direction and coordination for policies, procedures and programs.
- Determines fiscal requirements, make projections and prepare budgets.
- Monitors, verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds.
- Prepares financial statements reflecting status of programs and activities.
- Ensures compliance with SLC policies and procedures, as well as state and federal guidelines.
- Participates in daily Department Head meetings that focus on maintaining open communication and
teamwork between all departments.
- Meets with prospective residents and their families. Evaluates prospective residents, explains the
campus’s programs and services and process final admission document or reviews work of designee.
- Develops referral relationships with key sources which include but are not limited to elder care
attorneys, local physicians, financial planners, trust officers, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, skilled
nursing facilities, home health care agencies, senior centers, hospice agencies, durable medical
equipment providers, and clergy.
- Completes reports for the Executive Director and management company in a timely manner.
- Remains in proper business attire at all times and maintains a high standard of appearance.
- Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and
climbing.
- This position will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and ability to push up to 250 pounds
independently.
- The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
TRAVEL: Some travel is expected including occasional travel for training sessions, continuing education
opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Three years management experience in similar environment.
- Must have state specific Nursing Home Administrators License.
- Two or more years’ experience in a similar healthcare leadership position desired.
- RN or LPN designation desired.
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
