Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Management
- Pre-Project Planning: Conduct scope reviews, confirm color selections, create field documents, schedule labor, and order materials or rental equipment.
- Production Phase: Act as the primary point of contact by communicating schedules and project status updates to clients. Conduct job starts, regular site visits, and final walk-throughs to ensure quality control.
- Financial & Safety Control: Execute change orders and evaluate daily reports to adjust labor, materials, and scheduling to meet strict profitability targets while ensuring safety compliance.
- Look for Ways to Add Value: Suggest additional work where it can add value in a low pressure and consultative way.
- Project Close-Out: Ensure all closeout procedures are completed, coordinate invoicing with the accounting department, guarantee customer satisfaction, and proactively request client reviews.
Field Staffing & Leadership
- Hire, onboard, and vet independent subcontractors and W-2 employees.
- Forecast labor needs to ensure optimal, budget-compliant staffing levels.
- Foster a field culture rooted in positivity, appreciation, and respect while offering continuous performance feedback and conducting periodic reviews.
About You (Requirements)
- Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in the construction or home services industries (Painting industry experience is a major plus).
- Tech-Savvy: Highly comfortable and proficient using apps and cloud-based technologies to manage daily operations.
- Attributes: Calm under pressure, highly organized, exceptionally detailed, and comfortable navigating a very fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Screening: Must pass a background check, complete a long-term fit assessment, and be insurable under our company auto insurance carrier.
Schedule, Compensation, & Benefits
- Earning Potential: $76,000-$92,000 per year
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with occasional after-hours or weekend flexibility required).
- Health & Wellness: Medical insurance stipend available.
- Paid Time Off: 2 weeks of accrued PTO plus 6 paid holidays.
- Tools & Travel: Company-provided electronics (cell phone, laptop, or tablet) and mileage reimbursement.
- Vehicle Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement. Company vehicle after probation period
