OFFICE MANGER/PROJECT ACCOUNTING- TEMPE, AZ
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Inhouse position only with commute to TEMPE, AZ.
- Responsible for all aspects of project accounting, monthly reporting, project P&L’s, job costing and bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, General Ledger, preparation of billings/invoices, liens waivers, inventory/purchasing, weekly Intuit payroll, sales tax.
- Owns projects from first contact through punch list. Key contact for customers and internal project teams.
- Assist with contract review, estimating, budgeting, tracking bid deadlines & submittals, and scheduling of 7 day follow ups,
- Creates customer e-folders and ensures important documents and communications are recorded.
- Runs weekly project meetings, generates reports noting important milestones and deadlines.
- Owns vendor relationships, price negotiation, tracks project inventory needs and places orders with vendors.
- Works directly with project architects and engineers, ensures drawings and designs are 100% accurate, creates permit submittal packages and tracks progress.
- Provides operation input/recommendations for process improvement, project work flow, quality control, streamlining of processes and logistics.
- General office duties, answering phones, scheduling and tracking shipments
REQUIRED:
* Proficient knowledge/experience (5+ years) with QuickBooks Desktop
· Three (3) plus years construction related accounting experience.
· Problem solver that enjoys finding solutions for challenges.
· Very detail oriented with passion for getting things right the first time.
· Superior time management skills
· Excellent communication skills – verbal & written
· Enjoys wearing multiple hats working as individual and team player.
· Works well in a small business environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
