We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Teller for our office location(s). Previous experience is not required, as we will train all aspects of the position. The successful candidate will work closely with other tellers and the manager, and be able to assist other employees as needed. The position will include teller and general office duties and customer service. This is a full time position 40+ hours per week from 8:30am to 5:00pm and will include two Saturdays per month from 8:30am to 12:00pm at time and a half.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform teller duties including balancing cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Take in money and make change.
- Process deposits and loan payments in person and by mail.
- Greet members when they come in.
- Promptly answer phones and respond to member issues and requests.
- Cultivate member relationships by being friendly and asking open ended questions.
- Strict adherence to security policy and procedures.
- Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.
- Complete projects assigned by management.
- Work with other staff in a team environment.
- Perform related clerical duties.
- Maintain privacy of member information.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Outgoing and professional.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good math skills.
- Customer service and cash handling experience is a plus.
- Willingness to accept and learn new responsibilities on an ongoing basis.
- Spanish and English is a plus.
- Standing and sitting throughout the day.
- Personal financial responsibility.
- Work authorization.
- Dependable.
