2 TIMES A DAY AM/PM FOR INSULIN ADMINISTRATION. $35 PER VISIT WHICH IS $70 TOTAL A DAY.
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care environments. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health and well-being while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to evaluate health status.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Perform nursing procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current LVN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and basic life support (BLS).
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia care.
- Strong assessment skills and ability to perform triage in various settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Previous experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or urgent care is beneficial. Candidates with experience in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice care, or emergency medicine will be highly regarded.
