The Panel Builder MC at Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring, and quality inspection of control panels used in industrial automation systems. This role requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. The position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production within a manufacturing environment.

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials

Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and quality standards

Cut, strip, crimp, and wire gauges ranging from 26 AWG to 12 AWG

Mount electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers

Fabricate and modify control panel enclosures using hand and power tools

Apply proper torque using appropriate tools to secure all components

Perform rework or corrections as directed by the Quality Control (QC) Technician

Conduct basic QC testing of panels to verify functionality and compliance with design requirements
