Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Front of House Shift Manager to lead our hospitality team during daily operations. We require availability of Evenings and Saturdays. We close on Sunday. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the front-of-house activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food and beverage service, and smooth shift execution. Duties
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and overseeing seating arrangements
- Lead staff training and development to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage POS systems, order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Oversee inventory control, including stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, while minimizing waste
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Monitor shift performance, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members to achieve operational goals
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments
- Familiarity with POS systems for sales transactions and reporting
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations
- Previous roles involving team training, staff interviewing, and performance management are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure situations
