This role includes being listed as the supervising RN for Allied Support LLC. We are a licensed Comprehensive Home Care provider in Minnesota and Skilled Nursing provider. Our team is dedicated to high-quality, client-centered care while maintaining full compliance and we need someone dedicated and proficient to help people in a on our home care license and providing client-focused nursing services. This job has no major emergency response required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues and needs.
- Provide medication setup, reconciliation, and oversight.
- Complete client assessments and update care plans.
- Document care in compliance with MDH standards.
- Communicate with the care team, case managers, and families as needed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate residents and families on tracheostomy care and respiratory hygiene as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policy and state/federal regulations.
- Follow all infection control procedures and safety guidelines established by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain competency in tracheostomy and skilled nursing care.
