Essential Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience with school-aged children in elementary, middle, or high schools is highly desirable
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
- Offer consultative support to staff and families regarding students’ speech-language needs
