EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This role focuses on supporting inventory management programs and improving processes that help PennDOT meet operational needs. Within this role, you will use data, research, and field coordination to guide better decisions and strengthen inventory controls statewide. As a Management Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
Inventory Support: Assist in managing material inventory programs and recommend practices that improve controls-
Data Analysis: Review system information, study trends, and prepare reports that guide decision making

Field Review: Participate in quality assurance visits and help organizations implement best inventory practices

Research Activities: Gather information through interviews, surveys, and system queries to support program improvements

Policy Development: Help prepare procedures, manuals, and documentation related to inventory operations

Training Assistance: Support the creation and delivery of inventory management training materials

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

This position will be headquartered at the Keystone Building in Harrisburg or at a district office near your home that has available workspace.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the assigned headquarters location. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
