This position is accountable for producing maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to all customers on an assigned route. Working conditions include riding in enclosed vehicle daily, exposure to some fluctuations in temperature due to seasonal conditions and the work requires frequent pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, and reaching. Lift items ranging from 15lbs (a case of 24 12oz can) up to 162lbs (one full keg) repetitively, manual dexterity, coordination, and mobility are required.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns
Build and maintain relationships with business owners and key decision-makers while providing quality customer service
Introduce and sell in new brands and packages, including activities to support sell-through, as necessary
Develop and execute required marketing programs such as retailer entertainment, sales promotions, consumer sampling and merchandising
Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
Maintain a clean driving record
Monitor and control inventory levels for each account by conducting a physical inventory and restocking all coolers and in store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards
Responsible for negotiating, obtaining, maintaining, and updating all Point-of-Sale materials at each retailer’s location
Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities
Expected to meet the standards established and responsible for training and coaching Sales Assistants to meet those same standards

Safety:
Due to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position. Attend safety training meetings, participate in safety training exercises/drills. Complete all assigned safety training as required, which may include incident/accident corrective training, equipment recertification, and safety knowledge assessments.
