About the Role
Performance Personnel Partners is seeking motivated Vehicle Technicians to join our team at one of the nation’s leading automotive manufacturing facilities. This role involves performing inspections, installations, installations of wheels/tires, and accessory upgrades on brand‑new vehicles. You’ll work in a fast‑paced production environment with opportunities for cross‑training in multiple departments, including paint film, electronics, and torque‑based accessory installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Torque Wrench Experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Conduct Pre‑Delivery Service (PDS) inspections to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.
- Perform functional checks and accessory installations following the manufacturing facilities guidelines.
- Use tools such as torque wrenches safely and effectively; maintain care of company‑provided tools.
- Wear required safety equipment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Complete special assignments as directed by management.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and production needs, including overtime and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Must have 3 years of job-related driving exp.
- TWIC card – must be valid and presented at time of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report (no major traffic violations in last 3 years).
- Ability to lift 35–75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform frequent bending, crouching, and twisting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed written instructions in English.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and at other Jacksonville locations as needed.
- Proven record of punctuality, attendance, and reliability.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
