Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in commercial real estate, property management, general contracting, or commercial construction services.
This role is focused on identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth through direct outreach and relationship management with key decision-makers in the commercial real estate industry.
The ideal candidate understands the sales cycle in construction services, is comfortable networking with property owners and managers, and can confidently represent a reputable specialty contractor in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within commercial real estate and construction markets
- Build relationships with property owners, asset managers, property managers, brokers, and general contractors
- Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified project opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify upcoming repaint, renovation, and capital improvement projects
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Track opportunities and maintain accurate CRM records
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients
- Develop long-term partnerships focused on repeat business and portfolio opportunities
- Attend industry events, association meetings, and networking functions
- Collaborate with internal leadership to align sales strategy with company goals
Proposal & Project Support
- Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to support project pursuits
- Assist in prequalification packages, proposal development, and client presentations
- Help transition projects from sales to operations for successful execution
Strategic Growth
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights
- Identify new verticals or service opportunities within commercial construction
- Support branding and positioning efforts in the Denver market
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Strong background in commercial real estate, property management, general contracting, or construction services
- Existing network within Denver commercial real estate or construction markets strongly preferred
- Proven track record of generating revenue and building long-term client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with leadership and operations teams
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling construction or facility services (painting, coatings, restoration, maintenance, etc.)
- Familiarity with bid processes, RFPs, and construction project lifecycles
- Knowledge of commercial asset types including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
