Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing plates, glasses, and silverware to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and kitchen cleaning to uphold high standards of food safety management
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of dish racks, trash removal, and moving supplies safely
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas through regular cleaning and sanitation routines
- Follow all food safety protocols during dishwashing and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members during catering or banquet events to support food service operations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential!
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and basic food handling practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining sanitation standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food preparation or catering services is a plus but not mandatory
- A positive attitude with a willingness to support various restaurant functions such as serving, bussing, cleaning, and kitchen assistance
