Position Overview
This part-time Private Lesson Instructor role is ideal for musicians who love teaching students of all levels. We want instructors who value creating a strong foundation and cultivating success with and for students from day one. Instructors will design individualized lesson plans, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to performances, events, and group learning opportunities.

- Woodwinds
- Brass
- Percussion
- Orchestral Strings
- Piano
- Guitar and Ukulele
Key Responsibilities
- Teach private music lessons in person
- Create engaging, student-centered lesson plans
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve musical goals
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
- Collaborate with instructors and staff on showcases, events, and programs
- Develop creative group, ensemble, or solo playing opportunities
- Support a positive, professional studio environment
- Contribute to building a long-term, consistent teaching studio
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music or Music Education on primary instrument (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency on primary instrument
- Experience teaching private music lessons
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and reliable
- Creative approach to music education
- Interest in collaboration and community-building
- Desire for long-term employment and studio growth
