Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated General Manager to lead our luxury dog daycare, grooming, and dog walking facility. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the luxury pet care facility, including dog daycare, grooming services, and dog walking programs
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding pet care, grooming, and customer service experiences
- Ensure all pet handling procedures prioritize safety, animal restraint techniques, and proper animal behavior management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitization within the facility, including pet boarding areas and grooming stations
- Manage client relationships by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Coordinate scheduling for staff shifts, dog walking routes, grooming appointments, and special events
- Uphold compliance with health regulations related to animal care facility sanitization and safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician or assistant; pet sitting or kennel experience is highly valued
- Strong background in dog training, animal handling, pet grooming, or animal behavior management
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), team lifting, outdoor work activities, and animal restraint as needed
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of pet care best practices including pet boarding procedures, animal care standards, and facility sanitization protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience working with dogs or animals in outdoor or indoor settings is preferred
