Nonprofit seeking an experienced Regional Representative to support exchange students, host families, and Local Coordinators.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting world peace and mutual understanding through international student exchange. Our programs are built on strong relationships between students, host families, schools, and the local leaders who support them.
We are currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Regional Representative to support international exchange students and host families while leading and mentoring a team of Local Coordinators within an assigned geographic area.
Required Student Exchange Experience
Applicants must have direct experience in a student exchange program. This role is not entry-level.
Qualifying experience includes:
- Current or former host family for an international exchange student
- Current or former Local Coordinator (LC), Regional/District Representative, or exchange field staff
- Direct experience supporting exchange students, host families, or placements
- Familiarity with program compliance, student welfare, and Department of State–regulated exchange programs
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, and support volunteer host families
- Support international exchange students throughout their program year
- Serve as a liaison between students, host families, and schools.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Local Coordinators
- Reinforce training, communication, and best practices
- Partner with your Placement Director to strengthen placements and team growth
- Help ensure student well-being, compliance, and host family satisfaction
Qualifications
- Passion for international exchange, youth development, and cultural learning
- Comfortable leading and motivating a remote field team
- Organized, dependable, and community-focused
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from home
- Willing to learn (training and ongoing support provided)
- Sales, recruiting, or marketing experience a plus
- Must be 25+ years old (Department of State guideline reflecting the responsibility of the role)
- Reliable internet; dedicated home office preferred
- Willing to complete a criminal background check
