Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a restaurant, hotel, banquet, or catering setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain an organized dining area.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to assist with various tasks beyond dishwashing, including food preparation and bussing duties.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
