EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
a. Graduation from a four (4) year college university with a baccalaureate degree in Human Services and two (2) years of professional experience working with persons with mental health or mental illness.
OR
b. Graduation from a four (4) year college/university with a baccalaureate degree other than one listed above and three (3) years of professional experience working with persons with mental health/mental illness.
c. Employee must meet criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
d. Valid North Carolina driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Assess consumer needs
b. Develop and implement Service Plans, Plans of Care, Treatment/Habilitation Plan, etc.
c. Link consumers with available resources
d. Implement and/or assure implementation of goals for consumers
e. Monitor progress and needs
f. Monitor service delivery
g. Consult with other agencies
h. Provide feedback to the Director regarding service needs
i. Provide workshops and in-service presentations to agency, staff and other agencies,
j. Provide technical assistance/consultation to other agencies and/or groups as requested,
k. Serve as liaison between the agency, the Area Mental Health Program and various consumers, advocacy and support group
1. May serve as a member of presenter to the Interagency Screening Committee

· Must meet requirements established by state personnel system or equivalent for job classifications. Provided supervision to paraprofessional and associate professional staff as stated in 10A NCAC 27G.0104 rules regarding professionals and paraprofessionals.
· Sex Offender Specific Service Provision: In addition to the above, when the beneficiary requires sex offender specific treatment as outlined in their treatment plan, special training of the caregiver is required in all aspects of sex offender specific treatment. Implementation of therapeutic gains is to be the goal of the placement setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,890.00 - $44,786.00 per year
