Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and engineering, with hands-on experience in electrical systems, plumbing, drywall and painting, and PTAC/VTAC units. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel by performing both routine preventative maintenance and addressing guest service calls to maintain room functionality and overall guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Respond promptly to guest service calls to resolve in-room maintenance issues and ensure guest comfort.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, PTAC/VTAC units, and other hotel equipment.
- Conduct drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups to maintain a clean and professional appearance of the property.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance requests, completed repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with hotel management to identify and address ongoing facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and brand standards when performing maintenance tasks.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a related engineering role.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC (PTAC/VTAC), drywall, and painting.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and equipment instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
