Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Utah Security License (Guard Card)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–3 years of security experience (entry-level welcome)
- 3–5+ years of experience (strongly preferred for advanced placement)

Job Description:
As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and control access points (employee entrances, vehicle gates, guard shacks, and perimeter areas)
- Screen employees, visitors, and personal belongings as required
- Verify identification badges and enforce site access protocols
- Conduct vehicle inspections, including seal verification when applicable
- Manage temporary badge issuance and tracking
- Perform routine patrols on foot or in a vehicle across assigned areas
- Identify and report safety hazards, suspicious activity, or security risks
- Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment
- Operate screening equipment such as X-ray machines (if applicable)
- Complete incident reports and perform other security-related duties as neededally capable of performing the assigned work
- Be able to meet all applicable licensing, registration, and certification requirements in the state in which the officer's assigned facility is located
- Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
Education & Experience:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior security experience is a plus, but not required
Licensing, Permits & Certifications:
- Valid Utah Security Guard License (Guard Card) required
