Atlas Financial Services is now hiring for a full time Collector for our Vancouver, Washington office.
Candidates will be responsible for managing a portfolio of consumer and commercial accounts and must have a professional and courteous demeanor. Daily job duties include contacting consumers by phone and negotiating repayment of outstanding debts or setting up payment plans as well as skip tracing and dispute resolution.
Ideal candidate will have: Previous collections experience, strong negotiating ability, in depth skip-tracing skills, experience managing a large portfolio of accounts, detail oriented, understanding of consumer protection laws, familiar with state collection laws and the F.D.C.P.A. as well as the ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
Atlas Financial Services is looking for a long-term results oriented team player with excellent communication skills that works well in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be efficient with computers and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office as well as Windows operating systems. Previous collections experience a plus.
Compensation includes an hourly base pay as well as a performance based monthly bonus. Atlas also offers a compensation package which includes employer matching simple retirement plan, paid vacation time, paid sick leave as well as paid holidays, and a casual work environment.
