The Packaging/Cabinet Assembly Floater supports multiple areas of production, including cabinet assembly, product preparation, and final packaging of stainless-steel outdoor kitchen components. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and perform various hands-on tasks across the shop to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality finished products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assemble stainless-steel cabinets, drawers, doors, and product subcomponents according to drawings, work orders, or instructions.
· Use hand and power tools (drills, rivet guns, screwdrivers, etc.) safely and effectively.
· Ensure components are properly aligned, fitted, and securely assembled.
· Perform basic adjustments, fitting, and finishing to meet quality standards.
· Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, function, and appearance.
· Prepare finished products for shipment according to company standards.
· Wrap, pad, and secure items to prevent damage during transport.
· Build or assemble pallets, crates, or protective packaging as needed.
· Label finished products accurately with required shipping information.
· Stage completed orders for pickup and assist in loading as needed.
· Move between departments based on daily production needs.
· Support inventory and material handling activities, including pulling parts for assembly.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all assigned areas.
· Follow all safety policies and contribute to a safe work culture.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Experience in assembly, production, or general manufacturing preferred.
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
· Strong attention to detail and quality.
· Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
· Ability to follow instructions, read basic drawings, and adapt to changing priorities.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Forklift experience or certification is a plus (training available).
· Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
