Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Teacher to join our primary classroom team. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to inspire young learners through innovative teaching methods rooted in Montessori philosophy. Duties
- Develop and refine curriculum materials that are age approriate and align with Montessori principles, state standards, and educational regulations
- Observe children carefully and provide appropriate lessons and individualized guidance.
- Foster positive classroom management by creating a respectful, inclusive atmosphere that supports behavioral and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and integrating educational technology tools to enhance learning outcomes
- Document and communicate effectively with parents through regular updates on student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching young children within Montessori or similar early childhood education settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles
- AMI/AMS Montessori certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles
- Knowledge of curriculum development, implementation, and standardized testing procedures for elementary education
- Strong communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration
- Warm, patient, responsible, and dependable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet all applicable state childcare licensing requirements.
