Overview of the Position
U.S. District Judge Charles B. Goodwin invites applications for a one-year term law clerk position with the possibility of extension (not to exceed four years). The term law clerk researches legal issues and assists the judge with the drafting of orders and opinions. The term law clerk is also responsible for some clerical/administrative duties, which may require the term law clerk to screen telephone calls and assist judge and other staff in managing dockets. Applicants must possess excellent research, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
