About the Role We are expanding our manufacturing team and seeking a dedicated technician to handle the precision fabrication and assembly of firearms and related accessories. In this role, you will utilize specialized tooling and standard shop equipment to build high-quality products in a safe, compliant environment. All necessary materials and machinery are provided on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise assembly tasks, including attaching barrels to receivers and fitting components using torque wrenches, punches, and specialized gauges.
- Operate a variety of semi-automatic and manual machinery, including arbor presses, laser engravers, knee mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses.
- Utilize precision measuring devices such as dial calipers and micrometers to ensure strict adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and shop best practices.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet quality standards and efficiency goals.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: Mechanical experience or a background in firearms is highly valued. A degree in Gunsmithing is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to set up and operate machine tools (mills, lathes, grinders).
- Fundamentals: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication skills and a mindset for safety and quality.
- Leadership: Candidates with managerial potential or leadership qualities are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Entry-Level Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour.
- Experienced Pay: Candidates with proven gunsmithing degrees or significant experience are invited to inquire about higher compensation levels.
