The Jr. Process Engineer is responsible for organizing, updating project activities, and reporting status directly to upper management. This individual works closely with the Executive Strategic Administrator and various key individuals within the organization according to project scope. They may be asked to work on various projects with other departments to develop industrial processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinates planning, organizing, integration and completion of engineering projects within assigned responsibility.
Ensures that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations.
Interacts with and coordinates multiple aspects of projects, including close communication with key people and/or departments.
Works closely with the department manager to assist, develop and track all work with concise communication from initiation to completion of project cycle.
Assists in any business aspects of production and administration.
Coordinates regular meetings for individuals from different departments pertaining to projects, and schedule project follow up meetings as needed.
Follows and adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices
(cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures.
Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical or Industrial) from an accredited university.
- Work experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or other manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of U.S. FDA, cGMP, and QSR for Vitamins and nutritional product manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- Adaptability/Flexibility - able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and able to handle multiple critical.
- Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly and accurately in order to translate essential details of complex process information into clear and concise documents/presentations. Bilingual in Vietnamese/English is a plus!
- Computer Skills – Advanced level - MS Office, SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
