Position Details
- Full-Time, Permanent Position
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-2:00 PM (includes a 45-minute lunch)
- Location: Presidio of San Francisco
What You'll Do
This position follows a consistent daily workflow, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, multitasking, and building relationships with our regular clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer a busy multi-line phone system and assist clients with questions
- Schedule appointments and help keep therapists' schedules running efficiently
- Communicate insurance benefits and payment options clearly and confidently
- Collect payments and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate schedule changes and help keep therapists informed throughout the day
- Become knowledgeable about all PSM services and offerings
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team and provide an outstanding client experience
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Loves helping people and providing exceptional customer service
- Has receptionist experience (medical office experience preferred)
- Has knowledge of health insurance or is eager to learn
- Communicates professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
- Is highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Pays close attention to detail
- Is dependable, positive, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software (experience with electronic medical records is a plus)
