The Processor II will be responsible for reviewing and submitting loan requests from small business owners to underwriting; following up with customers by email and phone to ensure completion of loan packages. A key priority for the Processor II is to manage the administrative and logistical aspects of loan applications, ensuring they are processed efficiently. This will include collecting and organizing all necessary documentation for loan applications, while maintaining a thorough understanding of all product guidelines and documentation requirements to provide appropriate guidance for each customer Some travel may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing
Process and review SBA loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with SBA SOP guidelines and internal lending requirements.
Coordinate with borrowers, Relationship Managers, Underwriters, Closers, and third parties to obtain and validate SBA-required documentation.
Prepare and maintain loan files for SBA 7(a), 504, and other government-guaranteed lending programs throughout the processing lifecycle.
Identify and resolve documentation deficiencies, compliance gaps, and processing conditions in a timely manner.
Ensure all SBA eligibility, collateral, and documentation requirements are met prior to loan approval and closing.
Monitor pipeline timelines and proactively follow up on outstanding conditions to support efficient loan processing and funding.
Maintain accurate records and data integrity within lending systems and document repositories.
Stay current on SBA procedural updates, SOP changes, and regulatory requirements impacting loan processing operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department and that help to make Lendistry the best place to work!
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise
Strong knowledge of SBA lending programs, including SBA 7(a), 504, and government-guaranteed loan processing requirements.
Familiarity with SBA SOP guidelines, eligibility standards, and compliance documentation requirements.
Experience reviewing financial statements, tax returns, entity documents, and supporting loan documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Understanding of SBA loan lifecycle processes, including processing, underwriting support, closing coordination, and funding preparation.
Ability to interpret and apply federal lending regulations, internal policies, and SBA compliance standards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple SBA loan files in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with loan origination systems, document management platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills when working with borrowers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

Compensation Range
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay for this role is between $24 - $35 an hour.
Your base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including your job-related knowledge/skills, qualifications, experience, and market location.
The position will also have a monthly variable compensation amount based on production.
Physical Requirements
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting (approximately 95%), repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional standing, lifting, carrying 20lbs or less, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, and reaching above the shoulder. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
