We are a small but very busy dermatopathology lab in Bellevue, WA. Attention to detail is critical in this role. This full-time position will include providing a full range of laboratory functions including:
* Data entry
* Accessioning specimens
* Gross description of medical specimens
* Using the telephone to communicate with clients
* Maintaining service records
* Filing reports
* Following policies and procedures
Applicants must have:
* Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
* Or equivalent education including 60 semester hours, including at least 24 semester hours in science courses (Biology, Chemistry, Lab Technology)
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a group
* Ability to produce accurate, thorough and detailed results.
Experience is a plus but not required. The minimum education is required per state regulations. This position is M-F 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Ending time may vary based on workload. Full benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, 401K are provided.
