Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis through year-end, with potential for permanent hire. This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys process improvement, system optimization, and partnering with leadership in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 600+ employees
Process multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees
Ensure payroll tax compliance and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
Lead Paycom optimization and enhancement initiatives
Create and update SOPs, policies, and payroll documentation
Support benefits administration and Open Enrollment activities
Generate payroll reports and analytics using Excel
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
Provide HR Generalist support as needed
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience managing multi-state payroll
Strong payroll tax and compliance knowledge
Advanced Paycom experience, including system optimization and troubleshooting
Experience resolving payroll tax issues within Paycom
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Benefits administration and Open Enrollment experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

Work Environment
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
