Perform high-quality MRI procedures following established protocols

Ensure strict compliance with MRI safety guidelines
-
Start IV lines and administer contrast using proper technique
-
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures
-
Collect patient medical history and complete accurate documentation
-
Enter, verify, and maintain data in RIS and PACS systems
-
Confirm exam orders prior to imaging
-
Monitor patient comfort, safety, and medical needs throughout visits

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked MRI department
-
Support fellow technologists and contribute to a positive team environment

High School Diploma
-
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
-
ARRT MRI Certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
-
New York State Radiologic Technology License with Injection
-
CPR Certification
-
Two or more years of MRI experience preferred, but not required

Enjoy building rapport with patients and easing their concerns
