As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to our commitment to excellence in medical services.
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures

Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes during surgery

Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to develop anesthesia plans

Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and patient consultations

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures

Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and best practices
- MD degree from an accredited medical school

Current medical license to practice in the state of Nevada

Completion of residency in Anesthesiology

Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
Call: Weeknights (7p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)
Case Types: General, ortho, cardiac, OB, podiatry, healthy peds, ENT, neuro, vascular, thoracic
Skills Required: Spinals, blocks, epidurals
Cardiac experience is a plus
Daily Team Structure: 3 MDs, 10 CRNAs
Will supervise CRNAs and work independently
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
