Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated and hardworking General Construction Workers to join our team. In this role, you will assist with various construction tasks, including building, demolition, and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to learn new skills while contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and marking areas for excavation.
Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
Construction Tasks: Participate in various construction activities such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, concrete pouring, and landscaping.
Tool Operation: Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and promoting a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other construction workers and tradespeople to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, disposing of waste materials and debris properly.
Follow Instructions: Take direction from foremen or supervisors and communicate any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to wear and utilize safety equipment as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
