Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower extremities. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower extremities to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric issues, including but not limited to diabetes care, pain medicine, and bariatrics.
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with other specialists in areas such as cardiology and internal medicine to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide education to patients regarding foot health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice podiatry.
- Experience or training in IV infusion techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in reproductive endocrinology, labor delivery, pediatric critical intensive care is a plus.
- Strong understanding of diabetic foot care management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
