Job Summary
Join the Cheesy Bites team as a Cashier / Front Counter Team Member! In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly customer service, taking orders, operating the register, and keeping the front area clean and organized. You will also assist the kitchen team when needed by helping with tasks such as boxing orders and preparing orders for customers. We are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, friendly, and willing to help wherever needed in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items
- Operate the cash register and process cash and card payments
- Handle cash and provide accurate change
- Make sure customer orders are accurate and complete
- Help box and prepare food orders for customers
- Assist the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and other customer-facing areas clean and organized
- Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and equipment as needed
- make the loaded potatoes in front of the costumer
- Restock front counter supplies and other items when necessary
- Follow proper food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures
- Work with the team to keep orders moving efficiently during busy periods
- Help wherever needed to provide customers with a positive experience

- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Comfortable handling cash and using a register system
- Basic math skills
- Willing to help with both front-counter and kitchen tasks
- Able to keep the work area clean and organized
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is a plus
