Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote various insurance products.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing personalized insurance solutions across health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance lines.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client requirements while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and client information efficiently.
- Conduct analysis of client data to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling insurance products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and assisting clients with benefits administration.
- Stay informed about industry trends, insurance regulation updates, and product knowledge to maintain expertise in health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial lines.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a focus on insurance or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities for client interactions.
- Active Property and Casualty license.
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and CRM system proficiency for managing client relationships.
- Analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions confidently.
- Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, benefits administration, and insurance regulation is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
