Overview
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Store Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead by example, coach staff and consistently enforce compliance with company polies, federal and state regulator agencies. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to the overall success of the store through effective sales techniques, inventory management, reporting, time management and other assigned tasks as defined by the key responsibilities below and other assigned tasks as requested within the scope of the business.
Store Locations: 902 N 2nd Street, Clinton and 1606 Camanche Ave, Clinton.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership, Standards, Development and Execution (LSDE)

Leadership: Partner with Operations and Sales Leadership to align Finance, Accounting and Human Resources with business goals

Standards: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Development: Train, mentor and coach defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Execution: Evaluate performance and accountability based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for direct reports (Accounting and Human Resources) Consistently turn strategy and standards into day-to-day performance through ownership, accountability, time management and follow-through
Operations

Labor/Scheduling - Ensure that the store always has proper coverage.

Oversight of Customer Service, POS Procedures, Store Opening/Closing, Safety, Safety, Security, HRIS Management, Payroll, Benefits/Worker’s Compensation, Polices & Compliance and Human Resource General & Administrative responsibilities

Salary Exempt: $729-$819 per week
45 scheduled hours per week.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

High school diploma/ GED (required)
-
At least 21 years of age
-
Minimum 1 year of management and customer service experience in retail; prefer tobacco and/or liquor or successfully completed the Smokin’ Joe’s Manager Development Program

Ability to work 45 hours per week; day shift with occasional nights and weekends
-
Reliable transportation with Valid Driver’s License & Personal Auto Insurance

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Effective communication and interpersonal skills; in-person and virtual settings

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

Reliable with regular attendance

Proficient at basic computer skills, math skills and counting money

Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
