Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- Provide detailed menu information and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while providing excellent hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to foster guest relations and teamwork within the staff.
