Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, utilizing physiology knowledge and clinical judgment to determine appropriate care strategies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Manage acute pain, perform IV infusions, administer injections, and execute procedures such as suturing and catheterization with sterile technique.
- Utilize EMR systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document medical records accurately, including ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and CPT coding for procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across specialties—including gastroenterology, cardiology, behavioral health, and infectious disease—to coordinate patient care plans.
- Provide telehealth services to expand access to care while maintaining high standards of patient communication and engagement.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations such as sonography or spinal taps; assist with discharge planning and post-acute care management.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, or primary care settings.
- Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with medical office management systems like Athenahealth or EMR/EHR platforms is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in procedures such as venipuncture, tube feeding management, airway management, and sterile processing techniques.
- Background in specialized fields including geriatrics, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities enhances your ability to deliver inclusive patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and utilization review processes adds value to the multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $115,477.12 - $139,069.22 per year
