Schedule: Full-Time (0.90 FTE), Night Shift
Salary Range: $46.60 – $88.26 per hour
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as education, training, experience, seniority, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple openings may be available.

PeaceHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Access to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment. In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care while partnering with interdisciplinary teams to support the needs of patients and their families.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs

Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
-
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure privacy at all times
-
Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and care teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
-
Support patient flow and continuity of care across departments
-
Oversee supplies, medications, and staff break coverage
-
Perform limited diagnostic procedures such as point-of-care testing and x-rays (as applicable)

Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols

Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
-
Engage in ongoing professional development and education
-
Assist with patient transport as needed
-
Perform other duties as assigned
- Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience required

Completion of non-violent crisis intervention training during orientation
- Required:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
-
ACLS certification
-
Washington State Food Handler’s Card
-

Within 12 months of hire or transfer:
- ENPC, TNCC, PALS certifications
- Strong understanding of age-specific patient care needs

Ability to foster a positive, patient- and family-centered environment

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and prioritization abilities

Ability to balance patient, staff, and organizational needs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical systems
- Lift and move patients (up to 35 lbs. without assistance; more with equipment)

Push/pull equipment up to 45 lbs.

Perform CPR for extended periods (up to 20 minutes)

Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and standing
-
Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
- Exposure to biohazards, body fluids, and airborne particles

Work in fast-paced, sometimes noisy conditions
- Normal vision and hearing (with or without correction)

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
