What You'll Do (Job Responsibilities):
- High-Quality Grooming: Deliver full-service grooming tailored to the individual needs of each pet (bathing, clipping, scissoring, styling, nail trims, and ear cleaning) inside our state-of-the-art mobile grooming van.
- Compassionate Handling: Maintain a gentle, patient, and loving approach with all pets, especially those who are senior or anxious.
- Client Communication: Consult warmly with pet owners to understand preferences, build lasting relationships, and provide friendly advice on at-home care.
- Sanitation & Safety: Keep your mobile workspace and tools thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and organized before and after every session.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely navigate our fully-equipped mobile van through our local service route (Westminster, Arvada, Brighton, etc.), adhering to all traffic laws.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years of professional pet grooming experience preferred, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Attitude is PARAMOUNT: You possess a proactive, can-do spirit, a high level of integrity, and a true "spirit of service."
- Reliability: Fiercely accountable, punctual, and committed to excellent time management.
- Grooming Tools: The van comes equipped with a luxury bathing station, power inverter, vacuum, and high-velocity dryers. You may bring your own personal professional tools to work each day (shears, clippers, scissors, nail grinders/trimmers).
- Requirements: Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to legally work in the U.S. and successfully pass a pre-employment background screening (conducted post-conditional offer in accordance with the Colorado Chance to Compete Act).
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand and move about inside a mobile grooming vehicle for prolonged periods (typically 10 hour shifts).
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle animals weighing up to or over 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a mobile environment with occasional exposure to changing Colorado weather conditions, airborne pet dander/particles, and equipment vibrations.
