SB Specialty Metals LLC is currently seeking motivated and dependable Warehouse Saw Operators for our Troy, MI facility.
This position is responsible for cutting steel to customer order specifications, operating industrial band saw equipment, and performing general material handling duties within our warehouse environment.
This is a full-time 2nd shift opportunity:
- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
Training will be completed on 1st shift prior to transitioning to 2nd shift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of industrial band saw cutting, steel processing, or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work with decimals and fractions
- Ability to accurately read measuring instruments and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Additional Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete a background check and pass a drug screening, including testing for THC/marijuana.
