Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to promote holistic childhood development.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports toddler care, preschool experience, and early intervention strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all children.
- Facilitate engaging lessons and activities that foster communication skills, social skills, and early literacy skills aligned with standardized testing benchmarks when applicable.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss developmental progress, address concerns related to child welfare, and support ongoing learning at home.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, lesson plans, and assessments to monitor growth and inform instructional strategies.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education while promoting a nurturing environment for children’s physical and emotional well-being.
Experience
- Prior classroom management experience in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood education topics such as literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices for toddler care and preschool teaching.
