Overview
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a dynamic and energetic Bartender & server! In this role, you will be the heart of the morning restaurant experience, crafting memorable moments for guests through exceptional service. This is a part time position for morning serving.
Duties
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs proactively to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and adhering to all legal regulations, as we do serve alcohol in the morning such as mimosas, bloody mary's etc.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and enthusiastically
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
- Prior bar management or serving experience is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude foster team collaboration and guest satisfaction
