Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Responsible for ensuring all required documentation is appropriately completed and maintained as well as developing individualized hab plans (and associated documents) in conjunction with the program volunteers.

Coordinates appropriate on-site and community-based activities for volunteers.

Directly supervises Assistant Manager and DSP’s.

Oversees, and when needed, participates in individual transports to and from program as well as to and from volunteer locations and other community based activities.

Maintains communication with parent/correspondent and appropriate service coordinators of volunteers regarding progress, problems, volunteer needs and all pertinent information that needs to be disseminated.

Provides direct support services to program volunteers as needed.

Ensures protection of volunteers from neglect/abuse during program hours; reports incidents to administration in a timely fashion.

Appropriately documents all physical plant issues as well as ensures all furniture, equipment and supplies are properly ordered and maintained.

Attends meetings, conduct observations and consults staff as a means to discuss, review and gauge each volunteer’s progress, problems and individual needs.

Trains and supports volunteers to engage in tasks related to functional/meaningful and/or volunteer job assignments/responsibilities to the best of their abilities.

To promote and reinforce all agency philosophies including the guiding principles.

Required to successfully complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications determined by the needs of program volunteers/site.

Performs additional job related duties as requested by supervisor.
Ensures that work-related safety procedures are in place and are being adhered to by staff and reports any observed or discovered unsafe act or a potentially hazardous situation to supervisor and/or safety committee.
Personal outcome measures’ training is required prior to completion of evaluations and assessments.
