Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Uphold food handling standards and ensure compliance with health department regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate bill splitting.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
