Position Overview
West-Call of Texas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Device Installer to support the installation and service of nurse call systems in healthcare facilities. This role is hands-on and field-based, working in hospitals and other medical environments to ensure systems are installed, configured, and functioning properly.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who is comfortable working independently and traveling to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure nurse call devices in various healthcare settings
- Ensure all installations meet facility-specific requirements, standards, and safety guidelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and post-installation
- Perform basic testing and verification of installed systems
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service tickets, and inventory
- Communicate clearly with internal team members and on-site staff
- Travel to different job sites as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow installation standards
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in the field
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working in healthcare environments
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
(Previous experience with low-voltage systems, healthcare technology, or similar installations is a plus, but not required.)
