Position Overview
As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, you will operate company-provided delivery vehicles, safely transport packages, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining FedEx’s high standards of professionalism and safety.

What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a FedEx delivery vehicle on assigned routes
- Deliver packages accurately and efficiently to residential and commercial customers
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, professional vehicle appearance
- Load and organize packages to maximize route efficiency
- Navigate delivery routes using handheld technology and GPS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
- Follow all DOT, FedEx Ground, and company safety policies and procedures
- Work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and management
- Handle packages of varying sizes and weights safely and efficiently
- Deliver in all weather conditions while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License (Chauffeur’s License preferred)
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs. with assistance when needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous delivery, courier, logistics, warehouse, or transportation experience
- Experience operating step vans, box trucks, cargo vans, or commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of the local area and route navigation
- Experience in customer service or a customer-facing role
